Billy Connolly presented award frame to celebrate his first ever headline show at The SSE Arena, Wembley
Hailed as the UK’s most influential comedian of all time, Billy Connolly, his manager Steve Brown (Tickety-boo), and promoters Harry Farmer and Donard Duffy (HD Touring) were presented award frames to celebrate the comedian’s first ever headline show at The SSE Arena, Wembley which took place on Wednesday 30th November 2016. The show was the final date of his High Horse Tour 2016, of which sold over 200,000 tickets.
The awards were presented by VP and General Manager, John Drury (pictured right with Billy Connolly also known as The Big Yin).
The final UK date of the Scot’s 2016 tour also coincided with St. Andrew’s Day, and in honour of this, the national flag of Scotland was displayed on the screen of The SSE Arena, Wembley’s famous Gable End for the duration of the day to greet both guests and The Big Yin himself to the arena.
